Improved safety with the right dilution If the dilution is too strong, the chemicals can pose health risks to people. If the dilution is too weak, it can be ineffective at stopping the spread of germs or removing soils.

With some other systems, the dispensers and metering tips can be calibrated to different flow rates, producing imprecise dilutions. Medline dispensers and metering tips are both calibrated to deliver exactly 2.5 gal. per minute (gpm), for the right dilution, every time.
