Madison's transformation has also impacted her family and challenged them all to live more boldly for Jesus. Madison and her parents, Scott and Rhonda Clay, now attend Faith Baptist Church where they serve faithfully in various capacities. We would also like to congratulate Madison on her acceptance to Truett- McConnell College where she plans to major in Nursing and has just been signed to a golf scholarship! Our spring semester has gotten off to an incredible start; the Lord is up to GREAT things in our lives and our classroom! We have been diving into the Word each day and learning about the importance of spending personal time in Scripture and journaling to grow in relationship with Christ. We have also been studying the story of the Gospel—we’ve explored the character and nature of God and are also covering the Fall of Man and our desperate need for a Savior to rescue us from sin and death. The Lord has already broken chains of oppression in the lives and families of many of our students as they have drawn closer to Him! We covet your prayers as we continue to seek Christ together this semester.

godly leader and someone who challenges them to be more like

Jesus.

We are two weeks into our second quarter at Loganville Middle School and God is already doing some big things in the lives of 14 brand new eighth graders! We have been spending some in depth time on building a foundation of Faith and the Word and next we will be looking at what scripture says about the biggest areas in our lives. I am so excited for everything He has in store for us over the next 6 weeks! I would like to mention one student who has already shown exemplary leadership skills. Cole McGaughey has a beautiful desire to know God's Word and his attitude is contagious amongst his peers. We are so glad to have him apart of CLC and we know that we can expect great things from him in the future!

Loganville Middle School Update

We are off to an incredible start at the Monroe Area CLC. We just finished learning about God's deliverance through Jesus and God showed up and delivered 10 students from sin and hell just this week. I have never witnessed a move of the Holy Spirit like the one I am witnessing in my classes. God is doing big things and we are still in January. Praise His name!!

I am so excited about the start of this new semester. We have an incredible group of students at Walnut Grove CLC, and they are hungry to learn as much as they can about God. We are actually overflowing at Walnut Grove, which shows that God has some big plans in store. We are right in the middle of our gospel unit as we are learning about who God is, who Jesus is, and what the gospel is. These students are finding out so much about their Creator, and I can see them getting closer to Him daily. I am truly excited about teach Family, Community, and Careers and Comparative Religions this Spring. I know God is going to reveal so much of Himself to these students and myself. We are so grateful for Walnut Grove United Methodist Church for providing our classroom and transportation, which makes this class possible.

2nd Block- Meagan HilbertParents: Gene and Leigh Ann

HilbertActivities: Golf

Meagan is a junior at Walnut Grove and is one of my strongest leaders.

The amazing thing about Meagan is that she has no idea how much her

peers look up to her. She is extremely humble and can’t help

putting those around her in a better mood.

3rd Block- Christian BrooksParents: Terry and Shelly BrooksChurch: Mount Paran Church of

GodChristian is a sophomore at

Walnut Grove. He is never afraid to speak up about what God is doing in his life. His peers look up to him and see him as a very

consistent follower of Christ. His positive attitude is contagious

throughout the class.

4th block- Amber WilliamsParents: James and Janet WilliamsChurch: Corinth Christian Church

Activities: Swimming, Cross Country, Track

Amber is a sophomore at Walnut Grove. Amber always seems to have a positive attitude. Her peers notice

her in class by the way she treats others, and how encouraging she is

on a daily basis.

The YMS students have a lot of fun with each other. Very quickly into the quarter they were laughing and even singing on the back and forth rides from the Middle School to Corinth Christian Church where we have class. Currently, we're talking about the value of friendships, and how healthy, wise friends can be the difference in a thriving life, and a life that is filled with disappointment and regret. Please simply pray that our students really would have wisdom: That they wouldn't just know what to do, but that they would know what to do AND do it.

Youth Middle School - Update

Lexi Beaulieu. Lexi is an absolute blast. She is always in a good mood coming to class, sometimes organizing the whole class to sing some song on the way to and from class. She is a 4 sport athlete, as well as an active member of the Church at the Grove Youth group. So proud of you Lexi! Way to go. Keep up the good work!
