Variation #1 Ball Clay 25 lbs EPK 25 Neph Sy 6 Custer 6 Flint 13 H2O 34 lbs Darvan #7 390 ml Variation #2 Ball Clay 25 lbs EPK 25 Neph Sy 6 Custer 6 Pyropholite 2.5 Flint 13 H2O 34 lbs Darvan #7 390 ml Variation #3 Ball Clay 12.5 lbs EPK 12.5 Neph Sy 6.25 Custer 6.25 Pyropholite 2.5 Flint 12.5 H2O 24 lbs Darvan #7 390 ml Dry mix first. Measure water into a separate container. Add 1/2 of the Darvan #7 to the water. Slowly mix in the dry. After the mix starts to get unreasonably thick, add the rest of the Darvan. Sometimes you need to add a little more Darvan #7 and H2O. Make those adjustments in small steps. Also, generally the batch needs to be adjusted after sitting 24 hours. - Dean Adams
