Make sure to unload your magazine first.
Maintain thumb pressure over the floorplate to prevent the spring from popping out of the magazine.
Use a flat tool (flat-head screwdriver for example) to pry the spring up from the locking insert ...
Using the Clawgear Legalizer as a tool, press the locking detent located in the floorplate.
Remove the baseplate completely while securing the inner spring and floorplate.
... and to release it from the floorpla-te.
Slowly slide the baseplate rearward from the magazine body.
Take out the spring and floorplate.
Make sure to align the Legalizer pro-perly with the curve of the magazine.

Insert the Legalizer into the spring.
Reinsert the spring-mounted Legali-zer back into the magazine body.
Hook the spring into the slots under-neath the locking inserts...
Once the Legalizer is fully seated, sli-de the baseplate onto the magazine body.
... on the both sides of the Legalizer to retain the spring in place.
Make sure to hear a clicking sound to confirm that the baseplate is lo-cked in place.
