CLAT 2018 : Form Filling Guidelines

Important Instructions

Before you start with Application Process, Keep the following Documents ready for upload:

• Front facing passport size recent photograph (Dimension: 200 x 230 pixels | Size: 20 to 50 KB)

• Signature of the candidate(Dimensions: 140 x 60 pixels |Size: 10 to 20 KB)

• The scanned copy of the certificate in PDF format issued by the competent authority to support the claim of Specially Abled Persons (SAP).

N.B.:

• The applicant should sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

• The image files (Photo & Signature) should be in JPG or JPEG format

• The Signature will be used to put on the application, admit card and wherever necessary. In case of mismatch, the candidate may be disqualified.

Step 1 : Registration

Fill in the details and Click on ‘SAVE & NEXT”

On Clicking ‘Save & Next’, an Email and SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will be sent. Use this Provisional Registration Number and Password to log in to fill the Online Application.

Step 2: Filling up Application Form

Click on “NEXT” to proceed

Click on “SAVE & NEXT” to proceed

Fill up all the relevant information carefully as NLU allotment is also based the category you belong to

Select the applicable option and Click on “SAVE & NEXT” to proceed

Step 2: Filling up Application Form – NLU Preference

The basis of allotment of seats shall be 'merit-cum-preference', i.e., the CLAT Rank, the order of preference given by the candidate and the category / categories selected by the candidate in the online application form and the number of seats and their division/break-up as available in each of the participating NLU. Hence this section should be filled with utmost care. • Check the preview carefully before you finally submit & proceed to upload documents & make the Payment.

• You can also make the payment in future by logging out at this stage.
