1. Be on time to class 0If you are late you must have a pass.

0After 3 times your are late without a pass, you will get a detention.

2. Be in your assigned seat and prepared to work when the final bell rings

3. Follow directions the first time they are given

4. No arguing in class. Concerns and/ or appeals must be discussed with teacher privately before/ after class or submitted to teacher in writing after class.

0Be courteous to your teacher and your classmates

5. Abstain from eating, drinking, chewing and grooming in our classroom

6. Work on assignments individually

7. Do not talk during class instruction

8. Raise your hand and wait to be recognized before speaking

9. Stay in the “Application” we are working on and nowhere else unless given permission

10.Keep your area neat and organized

11.Do not change computer settings

12.Handle computer equipment carefully, handling the computer poorly may result in loss of privileges.

12.Work at assigned computer

13.No rolling around in your chair. If you need to get up, stand up and walk there

14.Seat backs cannot be adjusted, they will break so don’t even try it!

15.Schedule time to make up missed work

16.At the end of the period, remain in your seat until you are dismissed

Policy for Severe Behavior

0Severely disruptive behavior such as repeated disruptions, fighting, cursing, physical assault, or verbal abuse of the teacher will result in immediate referral to the assistant principal

Consequences for Disruptive Behavior

0 1st Offense: A verbal warning will be given when a minor classroom or school rule is broken, unless the discipline code calls for a referral.

0 2nd Offense: A 2nd verbal warning will be given and may be accompanied by a telephone call to the parent/ guardian. If a conference is necessary, it will be scheduled through Guidance.

0 3rd Offense: If the problem persists after a verbal warning, students will be given a detention, which will be accompanied by a telephone call to the parent/ guardian.

0 4th Offense: If the problem persists after a detention, a discipline referral will be given
