    CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

    Fat Quarter StackCut 4 rectangles 3½” x 15” from each fat quarter.

    Red BranchesCut 7 strips 6½” x WOF for Border 2.

    Gold TwigsCut 2 strips 12½” x WOF. Cut the strips into 6 squares

    12½” x 12½” for Center Blocks.Cut 2 strips 18¾” x WOF. Cut the strips into 3 squares

    18¾” x 18¾” and 2 squares 10” x 10”. Cut each 18¾” x 18¾” square twice diagonally to create 12 Setting Triangles (2 will not be used). Cut each 10” x 10” square once diagonally to create 4 Corner Triangles.

    Black WickerCut 6 strips 3½” x WOF for Border 1.

    QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics.

    Patchwork BlockRefer to the quilt photo for fabric placement. Sew 4 assorted print 3½” x 15” rectangles together to create strip sets.

    Cut each of the strip sets into 3½” segments. Sew 4 segments together to create the Patchwork Block.

    Repeat to create 12 Patchwork Blocks.

    Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to the quilt photo for Patchwork Block, Center Block, and Setting Triangle placement. Sew rows together on the diagonal to complete the center of the quilt. Add Corner Triangles. The Corner and Setting Triangles are intentionally larger in order to square up the quilt center, leaving ¼” seam allowance on all sides.

    BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

    Border 1Side borders should be 68¼”. Top and bottom borders should be 57½”.

    Border 2Side borders should be 74¼”. Top and bottom borders should be 69½”.

    Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite fabric from Classic Caskata. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
