Classic Chilli Con Carne (Mild)With Colman’s Chilli Con Carne Recipe Mix
Ingredients:

What to add to your basket:
1 sachet of Colman’s Chilli Con Carne recipe mix
(choose the ‘Hot’ version for an extra kick)
450g Tesco extra lean minced beef
2 onions, finely chopped
400g can of chopped tomatoes
400g can of red kidney beans
Probably already in your kitchen:
150ml cold water
1. Brown the mince and onion in a saucepan. Drain any excess fat.
2. Blend the contents of the sachet with the water and add to the mince, along with tomatoes and kidney beans.
3. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes until cooked.
4. Serve with rice.
If you want a warming weeknight dish, you can’t beat a chilli. With a blend of chilli and cumin, this medium-heat recipe appeals to the whole family.
