Day 02..Arrival in Cambodia at Siem Reap InternationalAirport, you will clear customs, immigration andvisa control (You will need to ask for a TouristVisa at a cost of $20 - Be sure to bring two passport
photos) Exiting to baggage claim, you will be met by our representative, holding a welcome signwith your name on it.
transfer to hotel with the rest of the day to beenjoyed at your leisure.You do have the option to start with anintroduction to the magnificent temples byleaving the hotel at 4pm to go and watch the sunset over Angkor Wat from the vantage point ofPhnom Bakheng.
Day 03.
Depart the city for an unspoiled floatingcommunity called Kampong Phluk which isastonishing for its stilted-house villages andflooded forest. Stop on the way for the RolousMarket tour. This is a great chance for you to takephotos of locals selling locally grown vegetables,different fish species and other local produce.
After this market tour well all have a boat trip tothe floating community of Kampong Phluk, visitan island pagoda, school and houses standing onhigh stilts.Stop and have lunch in a familys house before
getting into a row boat and venturing beyond thevillages into the flooded forest, the habitat tomany local water-bird species. Eventually we jump back in to the big boat and set off for thelargest fresh water lake in SE Asia, the Tonle Sap,
before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.
Day 04.
Rising early, we journey after breakfast out tothe, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the world'slargest religious building. This temple is theperfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and asource of pride and strength to all Khmers. Builtin the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, thisis the most famous temple at Angkor.

At the southern end lies the Baphuon, one of themost beautiful temples at Angkor, dating backfrom the reign of Uditayavarman in the 11thcentury. It has undergone a massive renovation by the French and is now once again open forviewing
You will then be taken to view the enigmatic andenchanting temple of the Bayon. At the exactcentre of Angkor Thom, this is an eccentricexpression of the creative genius and inflated egoof Cambodias most celebrated king. Its 54towers are each topped off with the four faces ofAvalokiteshvara (Buddha of Compassion), whichbear more than a passing resemblance to the kinghimself. These colossal heads stare down fromevery side, exuding power and control with a
hint of compassion, just the mix required to keepa hold on such a vast empire.
Day 05..
Today you will be taken to the jungle temple ofBeng Melea.
Day 06.leave after breakfast towards the Cambodiancapital Phnom Penh, pausing at Skuon,affectionately known as 'Spiderville', where it ispossible to sample the local delicacy of deepfried tarantula. We then arrive in Phnom Penhand check into your hotel before being taken tothe waterfront for lunch. After Lunch wediscover the streets of Phnom Penh with a cyclotour of the city. We start at Wat Phnom, symbolof the city, before heading west past the NationalLibrary.
We pass Phnom Penh train station beforewinding our way down to Psar Thmei , theleading market in the city. We then snakethrough some of the smaller back streets,including 178 St, brimming with art shops, andBohemian 240 St with its cafes and boutiques.We pass Independence Monument, modelled onthe central tower of Angkor Wat and continue tothe elegant riverfront. We pass the glitteringRoyal Palace compound and the stunningNational Museum before winding up back at
your hotel or by the water front.

Day 07. begin the day with a visit to the infamous TuolSleng museum (S-21) and then on to Choeung Ek(Killing Fields) which is located about 17kmsouthwest of Phnom Penh, and is the best known
of the various Killing Field sites in Cambodia.
After lunch we spend the afternoon visiting theRoyal Palace & Silver Pagoda before spendingtime for a bit of shopping at the central market.
Day 08..
We leave Phnom Penh and travel south onNational Highway 2 towards the south coast,journeying to the old French-era seaside resort of
Kep
On the way to Kep we stop off for a brief strollalong Kampots river front and stop for lunch atRikitikitavi. After lunch you will be met by ourlocal guide who will take you on a scenic sunsetboat trip. At 4 pm you will be welcomed aboardDIVA a 42 foot river boat, once belonging to KingNorodom Sihanouk, she was once referred to asthe Royal Vessel. Leisurely cruise out towardsthe mouth of the South China Sea. You passmosques, mangroves and the salt fields with aview of Phu Quoc Island in the distance. After thesunset melts into the horizon you return back toKampot. Returning from the boat trip you willcontinue to Kep where you have the evening toenjoy at the hotel or wander across to the crabmarket to try some of the local delicacy.
Day 09.
Travel to the boat pier to board a local boat for thejourney to Koh Tonsay or Rabbit Island. Youjourney across calm waters to this beautiful palm-fringed island, home to a small community offisherfolk and farmers. You have the whole day toenjoy the white-sand beaches that ring the island,the sun, sea and sand before we travel back to Kepby boat.

Day 10
Leave behind the beaches of Kep and head westtowards the popular resort of Sihanoukville,home to Cambodia's finest beaches. We passthrough the charming riverside town ofKampotwhere we may stop for some refreshments.From here, the pretty road passes under the
shadow of Bokor Mountain and hugs thecoastline for much of its length. We passthrough some pretty fishing villages before wearrive in the small town of Veal Renh onNational Highway 4. We head south toSihanoukville, check into our hotel and leave therest of the day free to enjoy the beautiful beachesand warm waters

Leave behind the beaches of Sihanoukville andhead back in land and then along route 48 whichcuts straight through the jungle, with dramaticviews of the magnificent Cardamom Mountains.The resort is situated in Tatai , near Koh Kongand you embark at the steps of the bridge in thevillage of Tatai at 2pm. You then take a boat trip
downstream from the bridge to the resort, whichtakes about 25 minutes in a cruising boat. Onceat the floating resort you have the remainder ofthe day to get settled in to your luxury floatingsafari tent and to enjoy the beautiful andpeaceful surroundings
Day 13
One of the must-sees of the region is a day tripto the Tatai Waterfall. Away from the
tranquillity of 4 Rivers Floating Lodge, thethunder of the majestic Tatai Falls reveals therivers true power as it drops 6 meters to therocks below. Your day, depending on the tide,starts at around 10am for the 45-minute boatride past Tatai village to the falls. Turning on toa tributary you head into the heart of theCardamom jungle to the far-off sounds of exoticbirds and its secretive wildlife.

Day 13 Contd.
Within minutes you are at journeys end, gazingdown into the turbulent waters of the falls. Soonits time for lunch, maybe a few moments hydro-massage and a refreshing drink as you find some
shade for a picnic and open your senses to thesights and sounds of the jungle. We will alsoarrange to transport some kayaks for your addedfun and adventure. After leaving the falls, westop at the mouth of a small river where you canpaddle your kayak to a traditional Cambodianfarm; you will see rice fields and some fruit treesdepending of the season
Day 14.
Today you have to decide what you would like todo on the last day of you holiday. You can justcompletely unwind and relax on your privatepontoon, take out the lodges kayaks and explorethe surrounding mangroves. Alternatively youcan decide to take one of the day trips, such as thesource of life tour which allows you to discoverthe forest of the surrounding areas or a shortexcursion to a nearby local village where you willget an insight into a local Khmer village. Or finish
the day with a short kayak trip to see the beautifulflickering light of the river fireflies in the evening
Day 15
After breakfast we leave the river behind andtransfer back to Phnom Penh, in plenty of time tothe airport for your flight to Bangkok. Please notethat the $25 per person departure tax should nowbe included in your plane ticket.
Day 16.Transfer to airport for flight home.

Entry requirements
All UK passport holders and most other nationalities require visas for CambodiaIt is possible to get visas on arrival at airports in Cambodia, typically these cost $20. Alternativelyyou can get it in advance from your nearest embassy. Typically 6 month multiple entry visas areusually sufficient. No vaccinations are mandatory for entry, however it is advisable to a be protectedagainst TB, polio, typhoid, tetanus and hepatitis A and to take malaria prophylactics. Flights
It is possible to fly via hubs such as Bangkok. Bangkok is an excellent hub and the frequency and
