Throughout the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, I ask all of us not to forget to make time for our family and our Lord. As we prepare for the birth of our Lord this Advent season, it is time to reflect how much we need God in our lives. Advent is a time of spiritual renewal, a time to deepen our commitment to follow Christ, and a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Throughout this Christmas season, we hope that our students and the entire Kuemper Family are able to recognize the “reason for the season” and continue to grow together in our faith. On behalf of the entire Kuemper faculty and staff, I would like to extend warm and safe holiday wishes to all of you. May the time spent with friends and family bring all of us closer to each other and to our Lord. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The Spirit of GivingThe season of giving is upon us. From Dec. 3 - Dec 18, the Opt Kindergarten - 3rd grade arecollecting money for the Twelve Days of Caring. Children in those grades can bring in cash donationsof any size to their classroom collection jars. The money raised goes to Christmas gifts for localfamilies. All proceeds go to localfamilies in need. Our 5th graders are collecting items to be sent to Honduras as part of Kuemper's Mission Honduras. We just completed our very successful Operation Christmas Child shoebox drive for all gradesKindergarten - 8th. We brought in 113 shoeboxes to provide a Christmas gift to less fortunate kids inthird world nations. Way to go kids!!!
