Graduation Requirements

Mathematics 3 credits Art or Music 1 credit Foreign Language 1 credit Health ½ credit PE 2 credits

CREDIT REQUIREMENTS= 22.0 total

TEST REQUIREMENTS: 65 or higher

CREDITS

Must pass a course with a 65 or higher to earn credit

If a class meets every day, all year…. 1 creditIf a class meets every day for ½ year…. ½ creditPE meets every other day all year …… ½ credit

Promotion is determined by the number of credits earned. Students must earn 4 credits for promotion to 10th grade. Students must earn 10 credits for promotion to 11th grade.

Students that score level one or level two on the NYS ELA or Math exams will be scheduled for AIS Reading, AIS ELA, or AIS Math. These supports help students increase their skills so they can succeed at the high school level.
