Apprenticeship

Students may want to consider applying for an apprenticeship program if they prefer a hands-on approach to learning. Apprentices learn a skilled trade through a combination of classroom instruction and on-the-job training. These programs usually last 2-6 years. Most programs are difficult to get into due to a limited number of openings.
