Recent professional activities & accomplishments: I practice Family Medicine at a UNC practice about 20 minutes south of Chapel Hill. Did my residency here and loved the area and decided to put down roots. Family news: Married to Jessica, and have 2 kids (Everett 2008, Ruthie 2009). Other news/activities/hobbies: Enjoy outdoor pursuits. Favorite memory of medical school and/or Gainesville: Miss the friendships and wish I were better about keeping in touch with people! Favorite faculty member or advisor: Drs. Hatch (Fam Med) and Duff (OB/GYN).

Recent professional activities & accomplishments: Opening of my own Private Pediatric Office with one other partner in October 2013: Pinecrest Pediatrics Group Family news: Married to Marcos Mestre, MD UF Class of 2000. We have 3 children: 10 yo, 8 yo, 2 yo. Favorite memory of medical school and/or Gainesville: Senior skit where we all came together and pulled off a great production. Favorite faculty member or advisor: Dr. Rarey and Dr. Cheong (psychiatry) were the epitome of teachers. They did what they loved and loved what they did.

Recent professional activities & accomplishments: Founding Member and Recording Secretary of Artemis Medical Society Owner and CEO of Vital Health and Wellness Center Family news: Our newest addition to the family turned 1 last week. My husband and I have 3 children, and maintain successful private practices. Our three girls keep us running and working. Our oldest daughter is on her School's Robotics Team who advanced to the State Finals, which is unfortunately occurring on the same weekend as our Alumni reunion. Other news/activities/hobbies: Baking desserts with the kids, Spinning and Zumba to work the calories off, cheering on the Houston Rockets with my husband, taking time to enjoy life and travel the world. Favorite memory of medical school and/or Gainesville: The friendships that I made continue to this day and hold a special place in my heart. Driving to Jacksonville for Pediatrics, surviving gross anatomy, studying all night thanks to Mountain Dew...
