Transforming Your Inheritance

1. What is the money story you grew up with?

2. How has that shown up in your life?

3. What is the core underlying money belief within that story?



4. What was their positive intention (for themselves)?

5. What is there to love or be grateful for?

6. What is there to forgive?



Forgiveness Exercise Writing a letter of forgiveness will help you release negative emotions you may have been

carrying for years. Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself. It does not mean you approve or

agree with what happened in the past.

Once you've written your Forgiveness Letter you can shred it or burn it, helping you to let go

and move on with your life.

You'll find it helpful to use the information from the Transforming Your Inheritance exercise to

write your Forgiveness Letter.



Example Forgiveness Letter

I forgive you, ____who it is____, for ___what you forgive them for__.

I understand that you believed ____whatever they believed____.

I understand you had a positive intention for yourself of __making sure you were secure, or

whatever it is__.

I understand that NOW is the time for me to stand in my power.

I understand that the part of me that felt scared_, worried_, _anxious_, _________ wanted to

be these will be positive feelings/words___, _________ and I am choosing to give that to myself

now.

I love myself enough to let go of those old feelings so that I can give myself all of the positive

words, such as joy, freedom, happiness _____________ I need.

By forgiving you I am regaining my power and I am free to be positive words: wealthy,

abundant, generous, excited and rich.

I forgive you.

This emotional debt between us has now been settled.

I forgive myself and I am joyous that I am now free!
