Craftivity Directions

Directions:

1. Print out the shapes on the following pages and pass out to students. Each student should have one shark head, one shark body, two shark fins, two shark eyes, and one shark mouth. Students will use scissors to cut out each shape and will then color them the appropriate colors.

2. Next, pass out sheets of blue construction paper. Students will glue the shark head onto the top of the paper. Then they will gluethe shark eyeballs on either side of the top of the head and gluethe mouth in the middle. Then they will draw two lines in betweenthe eyes and the mouth to be the shark’s nose.

3. Then, students will glue the shark body below the shark head and color in red and white stripes on the shark’s body to make a shirt. Next, they will glue on the shark’s fins on either side of the body.

4. Finally, students will write about how they “stay cool” at school. Display students’ sharks and writing for a cute bulletin board.
