Pop culture angels have always appeared as beloved characters on screens big and small

The angels were created by God to serve: God and man.

A common misconception about angels is this:That we become one when we die

It makes for a heart warming story, but it is simply not true.

There is nothing in the Bible to suggest that we become angels when we die.

God created angels as beings separate from humans.

The truth is that we become like angels at the resurrection

For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.(Mark 12:25)&(Luke 20:36)

Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements – surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
