(2) The Internet can serve as a valuable tool for remote villages by providing a way to preserve their culture and protect against exploitation of their land. (3) Some villagers are opposed to the introduction of the Internet into their traditional lifestyles. (4) Tsereptse, the leader of one Xavante tribe in a Brazilian Indian reserve stated, "I don't think it's a good thing, because it's a threat to our culture.” (5) Other members of the Xavante tribe argue that the Internet will benefit them. (6) They say that it will give them the opportunity to record their traditions and spread their culture to other parts of the world.

The lyrics are saying that if your ever down that I'm here for you so just reach out for me. Another example is

meaning you are my one and only. Lastly , my favorite example of an extended metaphor is

"Like it read well, check it Travie, I can handle that Furthermore, I apologize for any skipping tracks It's just the last girl that played me left a couple cracks"The lyrics are saying that the last relationship he was in didn't end well but he is willing to love again.

Evaluate Claim: The song "Stereo Hearts" by Gym Class Hearts uses figurative language to compare his heart to a stereo.

Evidence #1 : The lyrics to "Stereo Hearts" uses figurative language state " If I was another dusty record on the shelf" The author means the person might feel like all people does to him is play him and throw him away.

Evidence #2: The song appeals a person trying to find a perfect way to get the attention of another person by saying " My heart's a stereo. It beats for you, so listen close."

Evidence #3: The phrase " Thought love was dead, but now you're changing my mind " means the author is feeling a sense of joy out of all the times he tried with love. His purpose was to say he finally has some hope and joy about loving someone and them loving him back.

Evaluate The song "Stereo Hearts" compares 2 things which is a Stereo and a Heart.This means that his heart belongs to one person and and it'll play for that person only that he loves.Examples: When the author says, "Turn me up when you feel low".This means that only he can cheer that person up.When the author says, "If I was just another record on the shelf Would you blow me off and play me like everybody else". This means that he wants to know if he gets treated better than the rest And finally when he says, "Furthermore, I apologize for any missing tracks, It's just the last girl that played me left a couple cracks". It means that his last love was not the one for him which delayed the time they met.

Evaluate Well first of all the song "Stereos Hearts" uses extended metaphor by comparing a stereo to someone's heart. In other words this person is trying to say that he/she is really loves someone and wants this person to excitedly notice them. This person is also a happy person. The lyrics say "make me your radio, turn me up when you feel low" meaning let this person comfort you and be there for you. "Furthermore , I apologize for any skipping tracks" meaning he's sorry for making you feel isolated, sad, or for cheating. Last but not least he says "would you turn me up in from the cops, and crank it higher every time they told you to stop" meaning would you ever let anyone come between us? Would you keep loving me no matter what? The song "Stereo Hearts" uses extended metaphor by also comparing the strongness of his love to a stereo.

In one line he says " Furthermore I apologize for any skipping tracks, it's just the last girl that played left a couple cracks", meaning the last girl that played left him heartbroken.
