The Kilowatt-hour (KWh) Units of EnergyThere is another way to express enery.Since power is expressed in watts and time, unit of energy can called watt-second (Ws), watt-hour (Wh), and kilowatt-hour (kWh).

When we use a kilowatt-hour of energy means we use one thousand watts of power for one hour.
