CK Half Mask Respirator

Our half mask respirator used with twin lter cartridges meets the requirements

of EN140:1998 – being made from either Medical Grade PVC or TPE. The CK

range of masks are compatible with all CK cartridges and other leading brands of

which we can advise you.

Our half mask respirator has been providing protection against dust, mist,

fumes, vapour and gas to a variety of industries, supplied through our network of

professional PPE distribution for 20 years.

Available with adjustable elastic strap or head harness.

• Twin lter mask combines comfort and protection with low breathing

resistance.• Rolled edge around face seal ensures maximum comfort, preventing

soreness on the face

• Accepts CK series, particulate and combined lters to provide protection in

a wide variety of applications

• Filters supplied separately

• Head harness or strap provide even weight distribution

• Moulded head strap xing points prevent leakage which may occur when

Our lter cartridges provide protection against dust, mist, fumes, vapour andgas to a variety of industries, supplied through our network of professional PPE

distribution outlets. Conform to BSEN 14387:2004 for Respiratory gas lters and

combined lters, vapours & particulates. Our P2 & P3 lters are all tested to

conform to BSEN 143:2000 for dust particulates.

We can supply a whole range of replaceable lters other than those listed below.

CK FIT Testing

RPE Fit Testing is required for all tight-tting facepieces including all ltering

facepieces (disposable face masks), half masks and full-face masks. This

includes negative pressure full-face masks as well as power-assisted full masks,and both self-contained and air-fed breathing apparatus.

Information Document HSE 282/28, recommends that RPE Fit Testing should

only be conducted by a trained competent person.

The COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations include a

requirement that the initial selection process for all tight-tting facepieces should

include face-t testing to ensure the wearer has a correctly tting device. Face-Fit

Testing is also required under the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations and

the Control of Lead at Work Regulations.

To be competent, the t test operator should have adequate knowledge and have

received adequate instruction and training in the following areas:

· Regulations and Guidance

· The Purpose and Applicability of Fit Testing

· Procedures for Selection of Adequate and Suitable RPE· Fit Factors and Protection Factors

· Examination Procedures for RPE, Identication of Maintenance Problems

· Correct Donning Procedures and Pre-Use Fit Checks

· Qualitative and Quantitative Face-Fit Testing

· Sampling from the Facepiece

· Diagnostic Checks on Equipment

CK Silent Fit (Non-Detect) & Sonar (Detectable) EarplugsManufactured by CK Safety here in the UK, this range of reusable earplugs has

been designed for maximum comfort and performance.

Made from medical grade silicone rubber, these plugs are the ultimate choice for

the discerning user.

Meeting the requirements of EN352-2 and are CE-Marked in accordance with the

requirements of European Directive 89/686/EEC. Available with or without cord.

The two ange patented design (SNR24) Patented product No. 69820878.1

and three ange (SNR25) exerts only sufcient pressure within the ear canal to

ensure the required acoustic seal.

Available corded or uncorded and in blue, green, orange and yellow.

We recommend to use with the clean ear system. Left ear plug can be colour

CK “Clean Ear” Hygienic Ear Plug SystemThe “Clean Ear” storage box has been specically designed to enhance reusable

ear plug hygiene and safety. This box has clearly marked individual storagecompartments for Left or Right plug, drain holes to allow air to pass through to

assist in drying the plugs after washing / cleaning etc. Manufactured from high

impact resistant plastic in both detectable and non-detectable plastic versions it

is compact and lightweight (17gms) and easy to clean.

The storage box which is available as a separate item also has a facility

incorporated within the design for the user to attach a safety chain or lanyard to

help keep the plugs convenient, clean and protected in between use.

The system incorporates the benet of using different coloured ear plugs on

either end of a cord or Expandaband i.e. Red = Left Ear & Blue = Right Ear.

Detectable Food Handling Vinyl Glove

The Detecta-Glove is a patent protected product. Made from detectable food

contact safe vinyl and is powder free to avoid corn dust contamination. The material

we use offers formulated comfortable t and tactile sensitivity. A disposable glove

which protects the hands while E.G. cleaning and cooking. Suitable for preparing

vegetables, foods with a high water content, dairy products and pickled foods.

Please be aware: Detecta-Gloves are free of DOP (di-octyl-phtalate) but contain

small traces of DEHP which are acceptable to European Standards.

This glove is suitable for use with all foods but with the exception of fatty foods.
