Outlined below are some of the most popular and useful tools:

Google Earth Tools in Civil 3D Google’s massive database of geospatial data

includes street mapping, satellite and aerial photo-graphs, digital terrain model data, and more. This incredible resource is available for browsing through a free utility called Google Earth. Imagery and terrain models accessible through Google Earth can be im-ported directly into Civil 3D, making for an extremely useful feature set.

Publish Civil 3D Data to Google Earth One way to create a 3D, interactive model of your Civil 3D design that can be viewed outside of AutoCAD is to publish it to the Google Earth utility. Although there are other ways to create 3D viewable files (such as 3D DWF), one advantage to publishing to Google Earth is that your model becomes framed by surrounding Google Earth imagery, giving it valuable context.

You can download Google Earth from http://earth.google.com

Storm Water Design and Analysis AutoCAD Civil 3D includes three extensions for storm water hydraulics and hydrology

including storm sewer design, watershed analysis, detention pond modeling and culvert analy-sis. These extensions add important technology to AutoCAD Civil 3D, enabling you to address crucial parts of your workflow and increase the value of your design information for predicting project performance.

Hydraflow Storm Sewers Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D Hydraflow Storm Sewers Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D is an easy-to-use, full-featured

storm sewer design and analysis package. Automatically design pipes, inverts, slopes and inlets based on user-defined parameters and interactively modify and optimize your system in real time, assuring your design will have the high-est hydraulic efficiency at the lowest possible cost.

Hydraflow Hydrographs Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D Hydraflow Hydrographs Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D is a comprehensive solution for watershed analysis and detention pond design. Use Hydraflow Hydrographs Extension for simple site designs, complex watershed modeling and regional drainage studies, pre- and post development studies, detention pond design and submitting agency-ready reports.

Hydraflow Express Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D Hydraflow Express Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D provides flexible calcula-tors for solving a wide variety of everyday hydraulics and hydrology problems

for culverts, open channels, inlets, hydrology and weirs. Just select the task you want from a toolbar, fill in the blanks in the simple interface and solve. Hydraflow Express Extension quickly produces informative graphs, rating curves and professional, easy-to-read reports.
