Heavy Lift round slings (HMPE)
For Heavy Lift applications round slings can be manufactured from HMPE yarns and webbing covers. The colour of
the cover is white and not related to a capacity.
Our HMPE Heavy Lift round slings are extremely strong, durable and light. Therefore they are easy to handle.
Our HMPE round slings are manufactured according to the NEN-EN 1492-2 normative and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG. In addition we supply these slings according to underneath specifications: safety factor 7 (or customer specific) cover can be provided with colour, ID- and capacity coding unique serial number for traceability delivery including certificate delivery including ‘wearpads’ to protect friction parts capacity up to 4000 ton MBL available in any required length provided with hidden label (rupture protected)

Round slings
Round slings are manufactured from polyester or HMPE yarns and a woven webbing cover. Different
colour codes are established for different capacities. The colour codes make the slings recognizable
related to the weight of the load to lift.
We supply round slings with single or double cover according the EN 1492-2 normative and according underneath mentioned specifications: safety factor 7 sleeve with colour code and tonnage stripes (1ton up to 10 ton) label with unique traceability number supplied including certificate capacity up to 4000 ton MBL available (HMPE) provided with standard cover (type REH) or double cover
(endurable quality, type DREH) available in every length up to 80 meter working length we can “hide” the label for better protection of data inside the
outer sleeve!

Webbing slings
Flat webbing slings are assembled and confectioned from polyester webbing. Different webbing width
and colour codes are established for different capacities. The colour codes make the webbing
recognisable related to the weight of the load to lift.
We supply flat webbing slings according the EN 1492-1 normative and according underneath mentioned specifications:

ROV Retreive and Release shackles ROV Retreive shackle De Gunnebo ROV Retrieve shackle was designed for fast and easy handling during submersible lifting activities. This type of shackles contains no lose parts, either opened nor closed. The handle offers excellent visibility and exists of forged parts with double safety function - shark-tooth lock with open-closed-indicator and sprung handle. Handle dimensions are equal at all types. The Gunnebo ROV Retrieve shackle no. 861 is to use and time and costs saving.

Quick Release coupling
The Quick Release coupling originally was developed to speed-up and simplify connecting grippers onto draglines. At present a successful variety of applications exists in which frequently loads have to be connected or disconnected at or from wire ropes or chains. The Quick Release coupling is build up from a C-bow and a lock-bridge. De C-bow and the separate lock-bridge are manufactured from high alloyed steel. The connecting parts are extra hardened to ensure long lasting operations. The lock-bridge is well protected against damaging and polution. Gunnebo Arctic Offshore master links – type M and MT Offshore
Gunnebo Industries has developed a series of DNV 2.7-1 type approved master links for extreme environments. These Arctic Offshore Master Link series has a design temperature of -40° Celsius which makes them
suitable for usage in most extreme weather conditions.

Gunnebo safety hooks – type BK, BKD and BKLK Offshore
Gunnebo Industries has developed a series DNV 2.7-1 safety hooks for extreme environments. This series Offshore safety hooks was developed to be suitable for usage under the most extreme circumstances.

Double latch In case the hooks opens unintentionally, the second latch prevents the load to be released. The user will not experience any inconvenience due to the extra latch. Small lock grip In order to prevent damage or unintended opening of the lock grip it’s dimensions are designed to remain within the hook’s outlines.

Chain especially suitable for low temperatures, temperature range -60°C tot + 300°. Safe workload 50% higher compared to grade 80 and 20% compared to grade 100 chain

Quick Release Crane Hook
The patented automatic crane hook generates a magnetic field that attracts and guides the ring or the sling. The user presses a button on the remote control and the crane hook closes automatically. No handling, no rigging, no danger. This system works with cable and chain slings, traditional hoist rings, textile slings and even with big-bags.
