Introduction:
Job satisfaction is a set of favorable or unfavorable feeling and emotion with which
employee view their work. Job satisfaction is an affective attitudes-a felling of relative
like or dislike toward something (for example, a satisfied employee may comment that I
enjoy having a variety task to do) .There is an important difference between these job
related feelings of satisfaction and to other element of employee attitudes. The same
employee may have an intellectual response to her work, stating the objective thought
belief that “my work is quite complex “. On the other occasion, the employee may notice
behavioral intensions to a coworker (I plan to quit this job in three months) attitudes then,
consist of feelings, thoughts and intentions to act.
Stability of job satisfaction:
Attitudes are generally acquired over a long period similarly; job satisfaction or
dissatisfaction emerges as an employee gains more or more information about the
workplace. Nevertheless, job satisfaction is dynamic, for it can decline even more quickly
than it develops. Managers cannot establish the conditions leading to high satisfaction
now and later neglect it, for employee needs may fluctuate suddenly manager need to pay
attention to employee attitudes week after week, month after month, year after.
Environmental Impact:
Job satisfaction is part of life satisfaction. The nature of a work environment off the job
indirectly influences his or her fallings on the job. Similarly, nice a job is an important
part of life for many workers, job satisfaction influence life satisfaction . The result is that
there is a spillover effect that occurs in both direction between job and life
satisfaction .Consequently , managers need to monitor not only the job and immediate
work environment but also their employee’s attitudes toward other parts of life
management needs information on employee job satisfaction in order to make sound
decision , both in preventing and solving employee problems.
Benefit of job satisfaction:
If job satisfaction studies are properly planned and administered, they will usually
produce a number of important benefits, both general and specific.
Monitoring Attitudes: One benefit of attitude studies that they give management an
indication of general levels of satisfaction in a company survey also indicates the
specific areas of satisfaction or disaffection (such as employee services) and the
particular group of employee (such as marketing departments or those employees who are
approaching retirement ).In other words survey tells how employee feels about their jobs,
what part of their jobs these feeling are focused on, which department are particularly
affected ,and whose feelings are involved (e.g. supervisors, employees or staff
specialists). The survey is a powerful diagnostic instrument for assessing broad employee
problems.
Additional Benefits:
Surveys have many other benefits as well .The flow of communication in all direction is
improved as people plan the survey ,take it and discuss its results .Survey can survey can
serve as a safety valve, or emotional release , for people to get things off their chests and
later feel better about them . Surveys can also helps managers plan and monitor new
programs , by getting feedback on proposed changes in advance and then conducting a
follow-up survey to evaluate the actual response .

Main findings:
After creating this assignment we can find out the difference in private organization .We
get factor where private employees are satisfied. The other some factors create satisfied
in both side. We get another factor where private employee are satisfied.
Recommendation & Conclusion:
We would like to start the conclusion part by restating the hypothesis of our study. Our hypothesis was “Although PBTL brought ‘CityCell’ as the first mobile telecommunication service in the subcontinent but its customers are not fully satisfied with the service. If PBTL does not take care of these dissatisfactions and another company enters the market with similar offers, it will be difficult for PBTL to increase their market share”. From the analysis of the survey results and Gaps model, it is clear that CityCell’s subscribers are dissatisfied about different services of the company. Moreover, the analysis indicates that the subscribers are not loyal to the company. They clearly pointed that if another company comes with similar offer, they will not hesitate to switch. So, our hypotheses are proved as a valid one. We Firmly believe that if CityCell follows my recommendation, it will be able to achieve a sustainable distinctive competitive advantage and to run smoothly with loyal subscribers & market leadership.
