Department Report To

Fire Department Fire Chief or Designate

I Position Objective

To assist the Fire Chief in managing the everyday operations of the Fire Department. This is a Management position.

Duties and Responsibilities

I Communications

1. Communicates and interfaces with the Fire Chief, Fire Prevention Officer, Fire Department personnel, City staff, as well as the public and media.

2. Communicates and enlists the co-operation of all of these groups/individuals.

3. Maintain confidentiality as per the requirement of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy, Act and Municipal Policy.
