Washington's Birthday is a United States government occasion celebrated on the third Monday of February to pay tribute to George Washington, the principal President of
the United States. Colloquially, the day is additionally presently generally known as Presidents' Day and is frequently an event to respect the occupant president and all people who have filled in as president, not simply George Washington. The day is a state occasion in many states, with official names including Washington's Birthday, Presidents' Day, President's Day, and Washington's and Lincoln's Birthday. Depending upon the particular law, the state occasion may authoritatively observe Washington alone, Washington and Abraham Lincoln whose birthday is February 12, or some other mix of U.S. presidents, for example, Washington and the third president Thomas Jefferson, who were in April.

$$ SAVING TIPS - WATER HEATERS Water heating is the second-largest energy
expense in a home. It typically accounts for 14 percent of the utility bill each month. By reducing the hot water usage and turning down the thermostat on the water heater, customers can save significantly on their electric bill.
Make sure the water heater is set at the lowest point. Try setting it to 120 degrees
Insulate the electric hot-water storage tank. If the water heater is located in an unconditioned space, consider installing a thermal wrap around it. Take care to install it in accordance with the tank and wrap manufacturer’s instructions.
Buy a new, more efficient model
Try washing clothes with warm water and rinsing with cold water
Repair leaky faucets immediately so they don’t drip and waste hot water
Drain a quart of water from the water tank every three months to remove sediment that impedes heat transfer and lowers the efficiency of the heater
