10.1 Australian Airports Assoc AEP Template comments. All attendees agreed they had glazed over the template. Deb Walker suggested the only adoption into the current Albany AEP be the Environmental Context Statement as a reference tool to agencies to help muster contact information for additional equipment or resources available in the event of an incident. Confirmed: 10/0

10.2 Debriefing details on “Wheels Down” information for Deb Walker from agencies.

Sarah Evans provided photocopies of DCP paperwork relating to the exercise and further discussion recommended Deb Walker approach Mark Fairclough from WAPOL for any available notes taken on the day. Deb W to collate and present to CASA for evaluation post CASA audit dated Oct 2010.

10.3 Southern Roads Malcolm Mallaby to present road closure scenarios to be considered for inclusion of AEP.

Malcolm Mallaby informed the committee that the proposed plan is larger than first anticipated with multiple considerations and remains a work in progress. He presented a document that he will finish compiling after further investigation. He stated there were 3500 vehicle movements past the Airport daily and 720 of these were combination vehicles.

10.4 Jason Balhorn to present findings of AWIS (Aerodrome Weather Information Service).

Jason Balhorn stated that although the new BOM weather station will be modernised he recommends holding off any implementation of services due to the technology to transfer weather data text through a text converter being unavailable. He suggested waiting till the BOM is completed at Albany Airport then reassess possibilities.

Group discussion on proposed plan for road closure during an emergency at Albany Airport After discussing numerous possibilities the committee concluded that to minimise confusion for agencies attending the Airport and the only agency that has difficulty accessing the Aerodrome due to vehicle size is FESA, a site meeting was organised for the same afternoon of this meeting.
