I am responding to your request of September 15, 2017 for:

The list of invitees and attendees of the event on September 9, 2017 at Dacheng Dentons in Shanghai, and correspondence to and from the Mayor's Office and Vancouver Economic Commission and the hosts of the event.

All responsive records are attached.

Please note: The Canada China Business Forum was co-hosted by the Vancouver Economic Commission and Dacheng Dentons at their office i n Shanghai.

The planning and communications were done between the Vancouver Economic Commission and Dacheng office which did not involve the Mayor's office, and was mainly by teleconference due to time constraints.

The event was hosted by Dacheng Dentons at no cost to the Vancouver Economic Commission.

In attendance were Mission delegates and guests. invited by the Vancouver Economic Commission. Other guests from local business communi ties were organized and invited by Dacheng Dentons.

Under section 52 of the Act you may ask the Information & Privacy Commissioner to review any matter related to the City's response to your request. The Act allows you 30 business days from the date you receive this notice to request a review by writing to: Office of the Information & Privacy Commissioner, info@oipc.bc.ca or by phoning 250-387-5629.
