On Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2:46:23 p.m. local time, an 8.9-magnitude earthquake struck Japan, the
largest in recorded history. The resulting tsunami that swept the coast has resulted in countless deaths and widespread destruction, and aftershocks are still ongoing. The day after the earthquake, an explosion at Fukushima nuclear power plant caused both fear
and confusion about what may happen next….
