    NOTE: Under normal conditions, this watch willreceive radio signals to automatically update thetime and calendar. There may be conditions inwhich the radio signal cannot be received. If asignal cannot be received, the watch will oper-ate normally, but not update.

    NOTE: After a complete loss of charge or anabnormal display or function is noticed, anALL RESET PROCEDURE and 0-POSITIONINGCHECK AND CORRECTION is required. Besure to set the time and date after performingthese procedures.

    NOTE: This watch features an EL backlightwhich will illuminate the digital displays. This isactivated by pressing the upper right button (B)

    Radio ReceptionThe watch will receive radio signals both au-tomatically and on-demand. Both the time andcalendar will update based on the current timezone.

    Automatic reception occurs rst at 2:00 a.m. andthen if needed, at 3:00 a.m and 4:00 am. If the2:00 a.m. reception signal is successful,subsequent updating will not be activated.The 4:00 a.m. automatic update time maybe user set to an alternate time if so desired.

    The on-demand feature allows the user to enterthe reception mode at their convenience. This is

    helpful when changing time zones before theautomatic update or if an automatic update wasnot successful.

    NOTE: Depending on signal strength, it cantake up to 15 minutes to complete the update.During the update process, the watch must notbe moved otherwise the transmission signal maybe interrupted resulting in an unsuccessful time/calendar update.

    ALL RESET PROCEDURE

    oPull the crown out one click and ro-

    tate so that the mode hand points to CHRoPull the crown out another click to thesetting position.

    oPress the upper right (B) and lower right (A)buttons down simultaneously for 3 seconds, thenrelease them. All digital segments in the displayswill be highlighted and the hands will move backand forth to indicate the ALL RESET is successful.

    oPress the crown in to the closed position. Youmust now continue with the 0-POSITIONINGCHECK AND CORRECTION PROCEDURE.

    0-POSITIONING CHECK AND CORRECTION

    oPull the crown out one click and rotate so thatthe mode hand points to CHR.

    oPull the crown out another click to the set-ting position. Each hand will move to the 0-posi-tion set in memory and ( 0 ) will show in digitaldisplay 2. The correct 0-position for the chargelevel/frequency hand is the center of the U inEUR, while all other hands should be pointingstraight up (12:00 or 2400 hours) If all handspoint to their respective 0-position, press thecrown in two clicks to the closed position. If anyof the hands do not indicate their correct 0-posi-tion, you will need to continue this procedure.

    oPress and hold the upper right button (B) fortwo or more seconds, then release. This activatesthe 0-positioning mode. CHA will ash in digitaldisplay 2.

    oPress and release the upper right button (B).The digital display 2 will show CHA.Turn thecrown clockwise or counterclockwise until thecharge/frequency hand points to the center ofEUR on the frequency scale.

    oPress and release the upper right button (B).The digital display 2 will show UTC. Turn thecrown clockwise or counterclockwise until boththe UTC hour and minute hands point to 24.

    oPress and release the upper right button (B).The digital display 2 will show HR. Turn thecrown clockwise or counterclockwise until thehour hand points to 12:00 and the 24-hourhand points to 24.

    oPress and release the upper right button (B).The digital display 2 will show MIN.Turn thecrown clockwise or counterclockwise until theminute hand points to 12:00.

    oPress and hold the upper right button (B) fortwo or more seconds, then release and push thecrown to the closed position next to the case.The analog hands will move to the time set inmemory and CHR will show in digital display2. You must now set the time either through on-demand reception or manually.

    ON-DEMAND RADIO RECEPTION

    NOTE: On demand radio reception is used afteran all reset and may be used when traveling orafter daylight savings time.

    oPull the crown out one click. Turn the crownclockwise or counterclockwise to turn the modehand to the TME mode.

    oPress and release the lower right button (A) orupper right button (B) until a city in your timezoneis shown.

    oSimutaneously press and release the lowerright button (A) and upper right button (B). Thiswill update digital display 1 and the analoghands to your current time zone.

    oPush the crown in one click. Press and holdthe lower right button (A) for two or more sec-onds until you hear a beep. The second handwill move to the RX position at 12:00, thecharge level/frequency hand will move to thecurrent signal available, digital display 1 willshow RDY, digital display 2 will show RX.

    Place the watch in a stable position so that it ismoved. It can take up to 15 minutes to compthe update process.

    oUpon detection of a radio signal, the secohand will move to indicate the signal strength.

    oIf a signal is detected and updating is succesdigital display 1 will show OK and the secohand will resume normal function.

    oIf no signal is detected, digital display 1 show NO and the second hand will resume mal function. If no signal can be detected, you need to proceed with manually setting the time

    TO MANUALLY SET THE TIMENOTE: After receiving a radio signal, the twill automatically set. There may be circumstanhowever for which you need to manually set time such as after an all reset or you are in an athat inhibits signal reception.

    oPull the crown out one click. Rotate the croclockwise or counterclockwise until the mode hpoints to TME.

    oPress and release either the upper right bu(B) or lower right button (A) until a city in your tzone is shown in digital display 1.

    oPull the crown out an additional click to avate the time setting mode. The second/transsion strength indicator hand will move to 12and SMT will ash in digital display 1.

    oPress and release the lower right button (Aactivate or deactivate SMT(daylight savings tim

    oPress and release the upper right button (B). minutes will ash in digital display 1. Turn thecrown clockwise or counterclockwise to set current minute.

    oPress and release the upper right button (B). hours will ash in digital display 1. Turn the croclockwise or counterclockwise to set the curhour.

    oPress and release the upper right button (B). AM/PM (12hr) or 24-hour indiction will ashdigital display 1. Press and release the lower rbutton (A) to set 12-hour or 24-hour time.

    oPush the crown in one click. Simultaneopress and release the lower right button (A) aupper right button (B) until you hear a beep . Dtal display 2 will change to the time zone showdigital display 1 and the analog hands will mto the time in that time zone.
