If your article has no DOI (and this is not unusual), then the next

step is to locate the journal publisher’s home or entry page.

No DOI available

• Use the publisher’s (journal’s) home page as the URL for the article. – These may take a little digging to locate, but

by trying one of the following suggestions, it usually is available.

1. Where do you find the publisher’s home page?

If you are searching in the EBSCO family of databases, use their publication information page.

– Click on the hyperlinked title of the needed article.

– The journal title will be hyperlinked; click on it.

– Locate the Publisher’s URL– Copy / paste it into your citation.

• Copy / paste it to your citation.

• This method only works for EBSCO databases!
