Citelighter is an academic Web 2.0 tool

One of my favorite note taking tools is Citelighter. Sadly it does not work at this time with iPad’s but they are working on it.

Many of THS students are encouraged to use AVID strategies. Citelighter allows a user to “capture” information from the web and add comments into a project. This, to me, reflects AVID note taking strategies.

Once all words, thoughts, and ideas have been captured by the students then the information can be organized into the order it is needed for the final product.
