In its endeavour to explore new venues for the delegates, The Residential Refresher Course and Public Relations Committee is pleased to announce the Chamber’s 37th Residential Refresher Course (RRC) at “Anandha Inn Convention Centre & Suites”, Pondicherry (www.anandhainn.com).
Pondicherry, the capital of Union Territory Puducherry, carries a mix flavour of French & Tamil cultures. Pondicherry houses the internationally acclaimed Sri Aurobindo Ashram, which is renowned for its spiritual supremacy. For the first time in the history of Chamber’s RRC, the delegates would have privilege of viewing sunrise from the Bay of Bengal at the Southern East Coast of India.
Situated in the heart of the town, Anandha Inn is well equipped with the modern amenities. The Hotel is situated near to Shri Aurobindo Ashram, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple & Beach Boulevard. ‘Auroville’ well-known for its Meditation Centre ‘Matrumandir’ is located about 12 km. from the hotel.

Hotel Anandha Inn, Pondicherry, is well connected by road from Chennai. Many flight options are available for reaching Chennai. In addition, limited flights operate between Bengaluru & Pondicherry Airport. The Hotel is about 155 kms (3 hours) from Chennai Airport and about 4 kms from Pondicherry Airport. Delegates are requested to make their own travel arrangements up to the Chennai Airport.
Transportation by A.C. Bus: (Optional)
Pick-up from & Drop to Chennai Airport at an additional cost of ` 1,700/- (inclusive of Service Tax ` 187) is being arranged. The cost includes charges for Tea / Coffee, Snacks & Water during journey from Chennai to Pondicherry.
First Bus from Chennai will leave at 9.00 am and Second Bus will leave at 10.00 am on Thursday, 13th February, 2014. Delegates are requested to book their tickets accordingly and inform CTC about the bus option.
Bus from Pondicherry to Chennai Airport will leave at 1.00 pm on Sunday, 16th February, 2014 after completion of Brains Trust and concluding session.

We, the professionals, should use this opportunity and should do our best by lending our help and support to such endeavour to control such menace. Some of the areas identified are Registration of Charitable Trust, Pre-calls for Scrutiny Assessment and Audit queries, Conduct during Survey & Search and during Assessment, in relation thereto, High-pitched assessments, and harsh assessment proceedings.
We invite descriptive feedback, information and suggestions from the members in this regard. Members are requested to send details of such or other incidents, preferably with name/designation of the officer, along with actual incident, assessment year, type of proceedings and nature of the unpleasant act. We assure that full confidentiality shall be maintained.
