CIT’s Open Day is an ideal opportunity for prospective students, their parents and Guidance Counsellors, to sample the enormous range of courses and facilities on offer. CIT offers seventy one CAO course options for 2013 which are featured on the back cover of this Open Day Brochure. Throughout the Open Day, we will be holding an extensive range of activities that will be particularly beneficial to students selecting higher education courses and planning their future careers. The main features of the Open Day will be a Careers Exhibition in the Student Centre and a series of information sessions, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions of student work, and laboratory visits that will take place in numerous departments throughout the various campuses (please find schedule in this Open Day brochure). Students will have the opportunity of meeting with lecturers who will answer queries, and current students will be on hand to recount their own personal experiences and offer advice. There will be an opportunity to see the extensive facilities available in CIT including extracurricular activities. Organised tours will also be available in order to allow students to get a feel for the CIT campuses.
