Entry Point to Unified Computing• The UCS C22 and C24 servers are an entry point into the UCS computing model, offering a lower initial price point while also including third generation capabilities such as Cisco UCS Virtual Interface Card (VIC) and Cisco UCS Manager (UCSM) integration. The C-series servers are the world’s first stateless rack servers, where network, storage and server policies are centrally defined, deployed, and maintained.

• UCS blade and rack servers can be managed with the same domain, enabling the same server profile or “personality” to be assigned to either a blade or rack server.

• Centralized management enables C-series servers to take advantage of auto-discovery, fault and monitoring, and firmware version control and deployment.

Differentiation from the Competition • Built-in standalone management tools allow for faster service and application provisioning without the licensing fees charged by competitors. • Cisco VIC can be integrated into a UCSM domain or provide scalable and flexible Ethernet and Fiber Channel (FC) capabilities in a standalone environment through interface virtualization. • Cisco UCS C22 and C24 come with a standard warranty that includes three years part and labor, while our competitors provide three years parts and one year labor.

Why Cisco? Cisco is the leader in unified computing performance and innovation. We have been awarded multiple world-record performance benchmarks and offer integrated platform management, with no host agents required and no licensing fees.
