BOTH 7606 Power Modules being disabled - But still running!Unanswered Question
panthrax00 May 27th, 2014
Anyone ever see this before? We've been having alarms for the last week or so complainingthat one of the power supplies has had a failure. Shipped a new PS, and was going to have itput in, when we noticed the other PS started alarming as well. And both are alarming at thesame time. 0 watts available. But... it's online! Weird. 7606, running an (admittedly old) IOS12.2(33)SRB3 and year and a half uptime. We're afraid of rebooting the thing, and obviouslydon't think swapping out power supplies will help. Backplane issue? IOS bug? Or is this stuffcontrolled on the supervisors and replacement/switch will fix? A brief Googling, bug search, andlooking through these forums hasn't brought up much. Any help is appreciated!
