2017 Highlights
MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORIn fiscal year 2017, Circuit Pointe has found much reason to celebrate as wehave moved boldly with our work into remote, hard-to-reach communitieswhere we have provided bespoke emotional and practical support to sexuallyabused teens, oppressed women, victims of harmful traditional practices anddelivered lasting impact through programs that empowers people – especiallyyoung women and girls.
I am immensely impressed by the dedication of our volunteers to achieve ourmission. In 2017, our team has grown stronger and thanks to theirsupport, we have continued to inspire the trust of donors andreceived grants, donations and support from internationalorganizations, networking NGOs, private companies and individuals toimpact the lives of 11,938 people in Imo State.

Summary: Supported by OneWorldFoundation, we established digitallibraries in Community PrimarySchool Dikenaofeiyi and St Pauls’Primary School, Ezeihe Dikenaofeiyiusing solar powered tabletspreloaded with educational materialssuch as ebooks, interactive games,teaching aids and other learningresources.
Objective: - To bridge the digital divide and
increase access to technology andeducation for 350 primary schoolchildren
- To re-enrol 15 out-of-schoolchildren through scholarship andprovision of school kits
Improving Access to Digital Literacy
Project
Impact: - 20% increase in pupil’s enrollment into
the school recorded- 511 pupils and 21 teachers have
access to digital library using a weekly schedule.
- 15 orphans who dropped out of school due to lack of finances are now back to school thus increase completion rate in the schools.

Summary:Using AmplifyChange fund, we builtalliance with key influencers to stopthe practice of Female GenitalMutilation, a Sexual & ReproductiveHealth Right (SRHR) and harmfultraditional practice secretly still on-going in 4 communities of NgorOkpala LGA of Imo State, Nigeria.
Objectives: - To create awareness on SRHR as a
Human Right- Address major gaps in FGM
knowledge including its dangers- Bring about changes in beliefs,
attitudes and values- Support 4 communities to
eliminate the practice of FGM.
Campaign against Female Genital
Mutilation Project
Impact:- Partnership built with 4 Traditional
Rulers, 58 key influencers and endFGMrule/sanction introduced in eachcommunity
- Change in beliefs, behaviours andattitude towards the practice of FGMachieved with 3,370 villagers reached
- 10 female babies born within theproject period were not victims of thepractice
- 36 endFGM champions empowered toorganize community driven endFGMactivities as sustainability strategy

Project Summary:
Sponsored by Age of Wonderland,Netherlands, we conducted a creativelearning session initiated to build acommunity mind-set amongst peopleof different generations, so they canutilize an engaging activity such asmemory photo quilt-making to buildmulti-level relationship and promotesocial inclusion to re-engagemembers of their families orcommunities who live and study insocially isolated pockets.
Objective: - to strengthen community spirit of
people from different generationsthrough participation in quilt-making.

Publication of the report of theproject on social media including thetraining manual helped people toidentify with our goal, providedaccess to information on thepossibility of building multi-levelrelationship and has encouragedreplication of the activity
