Circa 1985 is a nod to the year Maximal Art was launched and the various approaches we’ve taken to offering our modern/vintage style. We have carefully chosen a versatile collection of petite charms with styling ranging from casual cool to girly glam. “While we imagine many of our current customers picking up Circa 1985, we also see it appealing to stores with a younger, edgier, or more fine jewelry look,” says company president Robbin Cook.

Through our choice of materials and delicate scale, including gold-edged, semi-precious druzies (tiny quartz crystals that look like glittering stardust), the collection satisfies customers craving ‘the look of real’ at fashion price points.

“I’d start with the turquoise glass seed-bead necklace, then I’d slide on a gold-tipped crystal spear and a miniature white feather with an initial. I also think a simple 30” chain with a druzy nugget is pretty special!” John Wind said when asked about his favorite pieces from the collection.
