• Chapter Treasurer Jesica Santillán attended to the Student Chapter Leadership Workshop August 12th - August 16th 2012 at San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California, USA. During this event, chapter officers from Argentina, Colombia and México discussed about the possibility to realize a future Latin-American Optics and Photophysics Student Workshop.

• Help in the organization and collaboration for the TOPFOT 2013 (National Workshop in Optics and Photophysics) and the EEOF (School for Students of Optics and Photophysics), to be realized in 2013, at the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

• Organization of a short Symposium about the Visiting Lecturer’s topic. • Local and guest Lecturers at CIOp and UNLP, Physics Department, Exact Sciences
