PageHow did this event come about?Because of the large success of the 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl, we received calls from many charitable organizations hoping we would help them raise money in a similar fashion. Of the many that asked, we thought the Central Missouri Human Society is a no brainer, simply put everyone loves puppies! The C.M.H.S. actually is operating a deficit budget and really needs the money, so we truly do think we will benefit a wonderful organization that needs our help. Furthermore, hosting these events enhances the overall marketing of The District being the true source of nightlife in Columbia and Mid-Missouri.

When and where can I purchase a PUP Crawl wristband?Wristbands can be purchased at all 13 bars during operating hours, and at many during office hours. Furthermore, wristbands can always be purchased at the Central Missouri Human Society at anytime!

THE PARTY BUS Providing FREE bus transports within The District from 9 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. with 2 busses that will run in opposite directions following

this path:4th & Broadway East to 10th & Broadway thenSouth to 10th & Cherry St. then West to 4th & Cherry thenNorth to 4th & Walnut then East to 10th & Walnut thenSouth to 10th & Elm then West to 5th & Elm thenHead back to 4th & Broadway & repeat

Simply put two busses will be constantly running East/West on Broadway, Cherry, Walnut, & Locust between 4th & 10th streets making stops by all bars.

Okay, you’ve almost sold me, but I‘m still on the fence. Give me one last reason why I should purchase this PUP crawl wristband?That’s easy! Is this a theme party event?The promo team will be decked out some festive Cinco gear as well as our own version of “Wilfred the Dog” in honor of our support for the Central Missouri Humane Society.

How old do I need to participate?This is a 21+ only event. Please understand that due to Missouri liquor laws, you will be carded at all venues even if you have the PUP crawl wristband on, as each bar still carries it’s own liability for your actions.

When does the actual event run from?Unlike the confining times of most pub crawl, this is designed to be an all day event to enjoy as you please. The retailer specials run all day long while those businesses remain open. The exclusive PUP Crawl bar specials are designed to start at 7:00 p.m. and run until all venues close.

What should I not do during this event?Please do not over consume alcohol or behave like a general jackass, which includes doing any of the following:

Harassing the bus transportation drivers- they have a set route.Harassing the promo teams- they can only give one giveaway per PUP Crawl patron.Not tipping the bar staff.Trying to re-enter venues if you are asked to leave, go grab some food and call it a night.Trying to forge the wristband, or steal one from others. The money is going to charity!

We anticipate LARGE crowds at many venues….chill out my friend, or use this as an opportunity to try out some different places, you do get FREE cover and great drink specials everywhere…so go have some fun!
