i. What is Cinco De Marcho?

Cinco De Marcho is a week-long snowboarding holiday / mountain retreatvacation, hosted annually in S. Lake Tahoe, CA. The event is one week long,from Sunday to Sunday (3/2/14 - 3/9/14). While anyone can join for any

duration during that time-frame, all participants aim to overlap theirpresence on one date: March 5th.

Participants are comprised of good, groovy, like-minded people (and avidHouse Heads) all hanging out on a cabin property in S. Lake Tahoe, CA -The 3 Peaks Resort & Beach Club (3peakshotel.com). Participants are

currently invite-only. Suggestions by invitees for others are welcome.

This pet-friendly, 62 room property offers standard King or Double-DoubleMotel -style rooms, 1 & 2 Bedroom Full Kitchen Suites , Poolside Suites

(w/Bose surround and in-room jacuzzi), private Junior & Studio Suites ,Honeymoon Suites with fireplaces and heart-shaped jacuzzi tubs, and evena 5 Bedroom Cabin ! Additionally, its crowning jewel is South Lake Tahoeslargest outdoor hot tub; a two-level, double-decker hot tub that can fit 40people & large enough to swim laps in!

The California-situated 3 Peaks is conveniently located just two blocks fromthe casinos at the Nevada state line, two blocks from the beach, and oneblock from the shopping district & Heavenly Ski Resort gondola.

Cinco De Marcho is hosted each year at a cabin hotel propertythat Reckless Yeti founder Deon Pearson manages in S. LakeTahoe: The 3 Peaks Resort & Beach Club (3peakshotel.com).

CDM started as a snowboarding holiday, and while it will always remainsnowsport-focused, it also is designed to be a tranquil mountain getaway,showcasing Lake Tahoes pristine natural splendor for anyone who enjoysthe outdoors. Whether its racing down a mountain face at terminal velocity,cruising the enchanting 72-mile trip around the lake, playing with lady luck atthe many casinos, partaking in the many fantastic shopping and culinaryoptions, or simply enjoying lung fulls of the finest air, there is something foreverybody in Lake Tahoe.

Cinco De Marcho puts together wonderful people who share a common vibe(hence the invite-only status) to celebrate life on a special corner of the earthin one of the finest ways Mother Nature and modern society has to offer.

Casinos : Las Vegas, Schmas Vegas! Why subject yourself to the deadly desert heat toroll the dice when you can right in the glorious Sierra Nevada mountains! Harrahs,Harveys, Montbleu and other fantastic gambling options are just 2 blocks away fromCDM headquarters!

Sightseeing : Lake Tahoe is home to some of the most mind-blowing vistas available inall of the United States! From beachfront tranquility to high altitude eagle-eye viewsand hikes of gladed glory, the Jewel of the Sierras is sure to have plenty for youreyes, heart, soul (and camera) to capture!

Shred Lessons : Want to learn to shred like a boss? Reckless Yetisfounder Deon Pearson is an AASI-certified snowboarding instructor. Withhalf a decade of riding and hundreds of clients under his belt, Deonknows just how to unlock the snow surfer within you. Deon also has thehook-up on the best deals in town for ski and snowboard equipmentrentals.

The grand finale of Cinco De Marcho! Held the night of Fri. March7th, 4cast is Tahoes very first House music mega event, hostedat Montbleu Casinos super-g roovy disco club: Blu. This event isheld in honor of the ski & snowboard industry, and will showcasesome of the very best talent in true Classic, Tech, Funky & DeepHouse music on the west coast.

v. Logistics

Clothing : Pack light jackets and base layers. Heavy winter clothing is rarely necessaryas Tahoe stays rather warm even during the winter months. Beginner skiiers &boarders spend much time moving around building heat, and tend to drop severallayers throughout the day. If a winter storm does hit (which trust us, is a very goodthing), there are many shops just one block away that carry anything you may desire.There is no shortage of quality softgoods in town, and some are even available toborrow from the Reckless Yeti crew!

Transportation : Round-trip shuttle service from Reno to Tahoe (and back againupon departure) is only $50 . The shuttle will safely carry all passengers (evenfully-loaded with ski/snowboard gear) right to the casinos at the CA/NV stateline. From there, a free pickup will be arranged to take you two blocks from thecasino to 3 Peaks. Car rental is optional but mostly unnecessary as the majorityof attractions are within walking distance. Additionally, 2 vehicles will be

available to utilize throughout the trip if a longer commute is desired. Cabs arealso widely available 24/7 if desired.

vi. Travel Pricing

Equipment Rental : Full equipment rental (which includes board/skis, boots, bindings &helmet range from about $30 - $80 , depending on needs.

Lift Tickets : Only needed for anyone who isnt a beginner, Ski Resort daily lift ticketsrange from $60 - $100 depending on the options selected. Ask Deon for discounts thatmay be available for your specific preferences.

Food : A wide range of dining options; from $1 taco stand treats to 5-star cuisine, andeverything in-between. Raleys & Safeway grocery stores are also just around the block.

Flight : Average round-trip flight costs from Phoenix, AZ to Reno, NV(the closest airport to Tahoe) is between $200 - $300. Booking earlywith minimal luggage will keep the flight cost the most cost-effective.Recommended airlines are Southwest & US Airways, as they havefrequent, cheap trips between the two cities.
