DIRECTORY of Advanced
MANUFACTURING RESEARCH
and Development Centres In Mexico
The Business Intelligence of ProMéxico proudly presents the Directory of Ad-vanced Manufacturing Research and Development Centers in Mexico. This document is a compendium of existing research, development and innovation (R & D & i) centers in Mexico, closely related to advanced manufacturing acti-vities. Its main purpose is to serve as an information base for new opportuni-ties for collaboration. Here are included 98 research centers in 26 states, both public and private, with a complete description of contact information, the research lines, main projects and activities they carry out, as well as the industries in which their research is being applied. For its elaboration, only center related to industrial innovation topics were selected. ProMexico enquired in official sources such as the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) and the National Institute of the En-trepreneur (INADEM), and also secondary sources like the States’ Innovation Agendas, websites of technology parks, as well as clusters and related asso-ciations. The directory is available in English and Spanish to be downloaded for free or to be consulted through an interactive tool. Both versions can be found at the portal:
