IntroductionThis “4 Family Walks” booklet isdesigned to provide local families andvisitors with an opportunity to explorethe public footpaths in the beautifulvalleys of the rivers Aeron and Arth.

They are intended as the first of aseries of such booklets that willhighlight the opportunities for similarfamily friendly walks in the villages ofboth river valleys.

The detail on the bio-diversity of thenatural environment available on thewalks, both to the keen naturalist andthe amateur enthusiast, is limited, butfurther information is available onwww.cilcennin.net andwww.denmarkfarm.org.uk

The publication was funded by a grantfrom the Big Lottery Fund and formedpart of the 3 year “ Wildlife Where YouLive” project run by Denmark Farm (seewebsite for details) in 12 villages inCeredigion which ended in 2013.
