Project 1: Investigate the role of various eosinophil secondary proteins in a mouse model of asthma through the generation of specific gene knockouts.
Project 2: Gene-chip and proteome analysis of events that occur as eosinophils proliferate and are recruited to sites of allergic inflammation, such as asthma or cancer.
Project 3: Generate mice deficient in eosinophils. Project 4: Develop high throughput assays for identifying eosinophils at rest,
primed, and activated in a mouse model of asthma.
