WHO we are

Fort Collins Community Church is a group of believers who have committed to live missionally and purposefully in the city of Fort Collins, Colorado. We focus the majority of our attention on the Old Town area of Fort Collins, seeking to reach young adults, college students and young families. Our goal is simple:

To love God and love our neighbor.

This is accomplished by intentionally seeking out relationships with non-believers and fostering those in such a way as to connect them to the church and ultimately to the person of Christ. ABOUT Fort Collins

Fort Collins is situated at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in northern Colorado along the I-25 corridor. Home to Colorado State University, the city has a population of approximately 140,000 plus another 25,000 college students.

The majority of the people share a love for the outdoors. Fort Collins is in the top five Bike Friendliest communities in the United States, with nearly 30% of the population commuting at least twice a week by bicycle. Old Town has a thriving community of artists, musicians and entrepreneurs.

WHERE you can find us

During the week you can find us anywhere in the Old Town area. We often ride our bikes down to one of the many local coffee shops to study or catch up with friends, or simply spend time with families at any of the many weekend festivities that go on in Fort Collins.

On Sundays we meet at The Center for Fine Art Photography, located on the North side of Old Town. Its a great location that serves to help reinforce our passion for creativity, which is one of our five core values.

SUSTAINABILITY We believe God calls us to be good stewards with what we’ve been given, starting with taking care of creation (Genesis 2:15). We are called to be responsible with how we use God’s gift. Sustainability applies to more than just creation care. We believe that making responsible financial decisions as a church and as individuals is something that honors God. As a community of faith, we want to make decisions that will allow us to be around to minister to our community for years to come.

GRACE We believe the key to experiencing life the way God intended is found in resting in God’s grace. (John 10:10) The Bible teaches that when we enter into a relationship with Christ, we receive a new identity. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Our desire is to teach others to rest in God’s grace and come to a full understanding of their identity in Christ.

COMMUNITY We believe that community is modeled for us by the person of God himself and in the biblical pictures we have of the early church. (Genesis 1:26, Acts 2:44-47). Our desire is not only to share the gospel, but also our lives with the people of Fort Collins. (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8). We want to live life together in an authentic and transparent way and promote a spirit of community both within our church body and with the city of Fort Collins.

CREATIVITY The Bible teaches that when we enter into a relationship with the Creator, we receive His divine nature into our lives which includes His creative spirit. (2 Peter 1:4). Our desire is to do everything creatively - to be creative in the way that we live our lives. We believe God wants to work in and through us to paint a picture of His truth and grace to the world.

INTENTIONALITY We believe that God creates every human being with purpose (Jeremiah 1:5). We believe that purpose is not just important for the individual but for us as a community of God followers as well. We desire to be intentional in everything that we do. That nothing is done just for the sake of doing. That everything contributes to our greater purpose.

PARTNER WITH US We invite you to be a part of our new church by partnering with us. We are asking you as a church to prayerfully consider partnering with us in one or more of the following ways: financially, through prayer and lifestyle. If you would like to know more about partnering with us please contact us.

FINANCIALLY Your financial contributions allow us to do what God has called us to do. When you choose to contribute, you are playing a direct role in helping to impact the city of Fort Collins for Christ. We are currently seeking a total of 8 partnering churches to be giving monthly.

Our monthly budget is $6,250 for a yearly budget of $75,000.00.Currently we have $2,300 per month raised from churches and other partnerships. Please consider joining with us to reach our goal. Here are some specific needs:! $250 per month ($3000/year) will pay for one gathering each month! $6000 for a sound system! $1000 enables us to serve coffee to our guests for one year! $1200 will cover childrenʼs supplies for a year! $2000 provides a projector

PRAYER We ask you to partner with us by proactively praying for us. Don’t wait for prayer requests. Instead, keep us in your hearts and minds and pray for us on a daily basis. Pray for our families, pray for the people that we meet on a daily basis, and for those we are currently cultivating relationships with.

LIFESTYLE We believe that missional living happens now. It is not something we schedule, not a date on a calendar, not something we plan to do. Missional living happens “as we go”. It is how we talk to a cashier at the grocery store, how we interact with our neighbor, how intentional we are in our conversations with the barista at our local coffee shop. We are called to build relationships with those around us so that we can share God’s truth and grace with them. We ask that you commit to do the same. It’s a call to total lifestyle change.
