Daly Notes
Each year, every pastor nominates two Lay Trustees to join with the
Archbishop, the Moderator of the Curia, and the Pastor as head of
the legal church corporation.
I would like to thank Manny Becker and Brian Wood who have served as Trustees for
Annunciation Parish since the merger. They have provided the Parish and Finance Councils,
and me, advice and direction over the years.
Manny Becker has been an invaluable resource to our parish for more than 50 years. He has
decided this is the appropriate time to step down as trustee, and as a member of our Finance
and Parish Councils.
I have asked Maureen O’Connor Lyons to serve alongside Brian Wood as Trustee in 2019. She
has graciously agreed. Maureen has already been very involved in the life of the parish, and in
our community. I thank her for adding these additional responsibilities to her plate for the good
of us all, and ask that you join me in welcoming her to this new role.
