The 2016 Cardinal’s Appeal
has begun!
You are the light of the world. Your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify our heavenly Father. —Matthew 5:14-16
During this Jubilee Year of Mercy, we are called to
help one another and be merciful, as Jesus is for
all of us. It is only with your help that the Cardi-
nal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal continues to be a
beacon of hope for our brothers and sisters
through our ministries and charities.

friendship and companionship of your fellow
parishioners!

St. Mary's Social Activities Committee.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Lenten Food Drive: St. Mary’s Parish will be holding our annual Lenten Food Drive to benefit the Community Center of Northern Westchester located in Katonah, NY. In years past, through your generosity, our parish has donated hundreds of pounds of food to the center. Please consider making this a part of your Lenten almsgiving. We will be distributing bags at the Masses on February 27th and 28th and will be collecting them on March 12th and 13th. Please bring your donation of food only on that weekend as a group will be collecting and stocking the shelves at the center on that day. If you can’t return the bag on the designated weekend please leave it under the porch of the St. Joseph’s room. Food should no longer be placed in the back of church. If you would like to help out by either handing out bags, collecting bags, or stocking shelves at the Com-munity Center, please contact Roanne at: [email protected] or Janine at: [email protected] Thank You!

The world was a playground for Mickey, a naive Irish American kid bored with his life. His father served in World War II, his brother was a Marine in Vietnam; now it was his turn. His 365 days in Vietnam builds in torment until an attack on a bunker complex in Cambodia. Wounded, his friend captured, he becomes a tormented survivor knowing he is always just a heartbeat from death.
In this memoir, set as deeply in his mind as in the Southeast Asian jungle, a young American soldier embarks
on a journey to a war that, for him, will never be over.
