PRAYER AND PRAISE  Please continue to pray for Judy Miller as she recovers from her open-heart surgery. The doctors are pleased with her progress, but she has a long way to go before being pain free - let alone cleared to run a marathon! Please pray that the Lord would raise up people from WHAC to bless, and welcome, and reach out to the families who will be involved with the church Kindy. Please pray for John and Nicolette, in addition to all of the Nanjans, as they welcome their new baby into their home and their hearts.  Please continue to pray for the McGowan’s. May the Lord keep His hand upon David especially as he struggles with his many challenges.   Please pray that the Lord would pave the way for the Kindy to receive all of it's approvals soon. Pray for the protection of believers amid recent developments in the Middle East, including Israel and Egypt. Pray that G od will intervene and that the people of these nations will put their trust in Him. Are you new to this facility? New wine at WHAC

Leading into this ministry year, the elders board at WHAC feltstrongly that the Lord is calling us to address the Prayer andFellowship as aspects of our ministry. Thankfully, He hasalready raised up a leader over Prayer, but we are still lookingfor a leader over Fellowship/Hospitality. If you love to makepeople feel welcome, and feel prompted to serve, please seePastor Matt, or one of the elders today.

LEARNING TO WAIT GOD'S WAY(Psalm 18:6)

David was the anointed king of Israel, but before hecould enjoy the realization of God's promises, he hadto go through a season of testing and waiting. Duringthis time, he was forced to hide out in caves andliterally run for his life. King Saul, who was bent onDavid's destruction, continually hunted for him.Perhaps the Lord has given you a promise through His

Word. You are ready to see it unfold, but it hasn'thappened yet. Though you have waited, it seems thatthere is no hope on the horizon. Remember, God'stiming is perfect.

He knows what you need, when you need it. He knowsthat if we are going to learn how to walk with Him in thedaylight or the good times, we must learn first to trustHim in times of darkness.

At some point, each of us has waited for God'spromises to come. David may have wondered whenthe Lord would open the door to blessing. However, henever allowed his thoughts to turn to doubts. In fact, in

Psalm 18:17, 19, he praises God for the victory heknew would be his one day. "(God) delivered me frommy strong enemy, and from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me … He brought me forthalso into a broad (or spacious) place, He rescued me,because He delighted in me."

When God delivers you from trial and trouble, you canbe sure that He will bring you out into a spacious placeof joy and delight - one that also will glorify Him andadd encouragement to your life. Have you beenpushing and shoving in an effort to move God on to theplace where you think you should be? If so, stop and

be determined to wait on God. The time you spendwaiting in darkness will one day be rewarded by theFather of lights (James 1:17).
