Revive Small Group Bible Study- Every Tuesday NightIf you want to study God’s word but have no idea where to start come to Revive Small groups. We will see what the Bible has to say about relevant issues of today for teenagers. Starting August 28 at 6:00PM will continue every week. Revive- Every WeekYouth are invited to Revive Sabbath School Every Saturday Morning at 9:45AM in the Youth Center. Snacks and Lesson.

Kayaking- Change of Date TBACome join us (YOUTH ONLY) as we go down to Balboa Beach for the day to spend time together with friends, and maybe even meet some new friends, as we kayak through the marina and have fun in the water. It's time to stay cool!!! We will be meeting in the church parking lot @ 9:00am. Please bring money for lunch or bring a lunch with you. This is a free event, but you must RSVP. TODAY:

1) INTERNET PRAYER TEAM: Our church Internet prayer team is willing to pray for both short and long term requests. Should you have a request, or a praise please place in the prayer request box in the church foyer, or e mail it to Deanne Joseph [email protected] ALL REQUESTS WILL BE HANDLED CONFIDENTIALLY. Just one request, PLEASE KEEP DEANNE UPDATED ON ANY PROGRESS, CHANGES, and ANSWERS TO PRAYER. This will not only inspire and encourage, but we can thank and praise God for His goodness. 2) PRAYER MINISTRY: at 8:30 am each Sabbath morning a group from the prayer net ministry team will meet in the Minister's room behind the platform. We will be praying for the church its leaders, teachers and worshippers that the Holy Spirit will be in full control. Anyone who would like to join us will be welcome. 3) AFTERGLOW: Each week after the Church service, Lee Heath & Dorothy Pulley will lead out in the Afterglow prayer session. They will meet in the Overflow Room to the right of the Sanctuary. Anyone who would like to join them will be welcome. If you have special prayer need, feel free to come and be prayed with. 4) MGA ALUMNI SABBATH: today. Honor classes 1992, 2002, 2007. Registration starts at 10:15am in the pit. Alumni and family are invited to a catered lunch following the service. 5) HANDBELL CHOIR PRACTICE: Sabbath afternoon at 3:00pm beginning today in the kindergarten room. 6) SERVING HANDS MINISTRY: 5:00pm in the fellowship hall. 7) WEEK OF HEALTH PRESENTATION: 5:30pm “A Divine Formula for preventing over 100 diseases!” NEXT WEEK: 8) SENIOR BEACH DAY: Sunday, September 9th from 1-8pm. See insert.

9) WEEK OF HEALTH PRESENTATIONS: September 10-15, Monday through Friday from 6:30-7:30pm. See insert for more details.

10) FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING: Tuesday, 7:00pm.

11) STUDY GROUP: Wednesday 10:30am in the overflow room. We are doing a special study and/or review of “the Discover Bible Studies” by The Voice of Prophecy with guidance in presenting them to others. 12) SENIOR POTLUCK: next Sabbath. Come and fellowship together. Please bring either a salad or entrée. Dessert will be provided.

See insert for more information. 21) CHILDREN’S CHURCH: the next one will be on October 6. 22) 2012 SECC YOUTH CONVENTION: "Gear up" is for all church leaders involved with children, junior high, youth, young adults, pathfinders, and adventurers. The seminar will provide comprehensive training on relevant issues for each ministry. The convention will be held at the Ontario Convention Center October 18th-20th. Registration cost is $119. Deadline to register is September 10th. GENERAL: COMBINED BUDGET: monthly goal $14,000COMBINED BUDGET: received for Sept $3,989TUITION AID: monthly goal $3,000TUITION AID: received for Sept $543AUDIO VISUAL: received for Sept $20 OFFERINGS: All loose moneys in the plate will go toward the local church budget. Designated donations will be applied as specified by the donor on the tithe/offering envelope. Any undesignated moneys in envelopes, will go toward the offering appeal that specific day. NEXT WEEK’S OFFERING: is for Church Budget. 23) SPECIAL NOTE: 30 students are receiving tuition aid of $100 per month for Christian education this year. If you would like to sponsor a student, contact Linda Hill. Please remember these young people as you give your offerings. We will need $3,000 every month to keep our accounts current.
