a privilege to share this time together praising and giving thanks to God. If

ANNOUNCEMENTS

TODAY:

1) THE FLOWERS: today at the pulpit are from Joe & Cindy Wilkinson

thanking the Lord for Gina’s 1st Wedding anniversary.

2) COMMUNION: today.

3) LOVE OFFERING: As you leave, at the end of the service, a love offering

will be taken up at the door, to help families who need special assistance.

4) DEACONS: Please stay after communion to help clean up. Thank you.

5) NOMINATING COMMITTEE: Monday at 6:30 pm. in the Board Room.

6) COMMUNITY SERVICES MEETING: Tuesday, 9:00am.

7) STUDY GROUP: CANCELLATION--Study Group Wednesday --4th of July

Class will resume July 11th with a new series entitled ANGELS with a 30 minute

DVD by Pastor Dwight Nelson, following by a lesson and discussion. Come and

plan on being reminded on "What angels do among men." This class as always

will be held in the Overflow room. If you haven't attended before, this is a perfect

time to start. We would appreciate your presence.

8) MIDWEEK PRAYER MEETING: is cancelled for the month of July.

9) FAMILY FUN NIGHT: Thursday, from 6-7:30pm.

10) FELLOWSHIP BUFFET: next Sabbath. Please bring enough food for your

family and friends.

11) ELDER CARE MUSIC MINISTRY: next Sabbath at 3:00pm at Braswell’s

on 4th

Street.

COMBINED BUDGET: monthly goal $14,000

TUITION AID: monthly goal $2,600

AUDIO VISUAL: received for June $354

OFFERINGS: All loose moneys in the plate will go toward the local church

budget. Designated donations will be applied as specified by the donor on the

tithe/offering envelope. Any undesignated moneys in envelopes, will go toward

the offering appeal that specific day.

NEXT WEEK’S OFFERING: is for church budget.

12) MEMBERSHIP TRANSFERS: 1st Reading

Incoming: Arthur W. Johnson from Barstow, CA

13) THE GREAT HOPE! The Great Hope is alive. He IS coming back soon!

However, the postal service has caused a delay in the launching of the Great Hope

project. We’ll keep you posted!

14) TUITION ASSISTANCE: If you are in need of tuition assistance for the

2012/2013 school year, please pick up a form in the back of the church in the

foyer. It needs to be turned in by July 14th

.

15) COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Serving Hands supper has been suspended for

the month of June. Beginning in the month of July, Serving Hands will be serving a

community supper every Sabbath evening. Teams are forming now. If you would

like to be a part of a team to help serve once a month or provide one of the

following, entree, salad, dessert, drink please contact Jennifer Lidar at 528-9866.

Remember MGA students, this counts as community service or work experience.

16) COMMUNITY SERVICES: will be closed during the months of July &

August. If you need any clothes, please contact Marion Brown or Cherrie Gallup.

17) NO CHILDREN’S CHURCH: until September.

18) THE CHURCH OFFICE: will be closed this coming Wednesday for the 4th

of July.

YOUTH

Water Toys Needed

If you have water guns or water balloon launchers or other water toys that you

would like to loan to the youth this summer please contact Matthew Burton

Have a Car

If you have a car and you would like to help out the youth we need drivers to

transport students to and from our activities such as: Hangar 18 climbing gym, and

drivers to drive youth around for the Photo Scavenger Hunt. If you can help

Revive- Every Week

Youth are invited to Revive Sabbath School Every Saturday Morning at 9:30AM

in the Youth Center. Snacks, Music, and Lesson.

Revive Amped- Resuming After School is Back in Session

Youth are invited to Revive Amped Every Second Friday of the month (After

School is Back in Session) at 7PM to 9PM in the Youth Center. There will be

snacks, music, and a special speaker. For more details contact Matthew Burton

Photo Scavenger Hunt- Tonight

Youth are invited to a Photo Scavenger Hunt tonight at 7:00PM. We give them a

list of items to take pictures of around town. We will be meeting in the Youth

Center to form teams.
