Bench Dedication Many of you are familiar with the tragic loss of a former SPELC mother and her two young boys that occurred last November. A family who was close friends with the Laber boys has offered to organize the installation of a special bench in their memory. The bench will be placed in the garden outside the preschool entrance and will include a plaque. You are invited to the bench dedication on Monday, November 6 at 1pm led by our pastors. If you would like to contribute to the bench project (total cost is approxi-mately $500), we will have a donation basket available at the ceremony, or you may stop by the school office. Any funds accepted above the cost of the bench will be added to the SPELC Benevolence Fund.

Additionally, the Comfort Series of St. Philip Lutheran Church will be sponsoring time for quiet meditation, reflection, and prayer from 8:30-9:15am and 12:45-1:30pm in the sanctuary Tuesday, November 7-Friday, November 10.
