Question 1: With what do you integrate?

The Compliance Data Exchange (CDX) permits clients to:

• Import and export MDSs directly from IMDS using IMDS-AI

• Import and export IPC-1752A data files

• Import and export IEC-62474 data files

• Import & export IPC-1755 Conflict Mineral Reporting Templates

• CDX Web Services Interface (CDX-WSI) permit integration of CDX into client ERP, PLM, BOM management, and other solutions

Question 2: How does System complement IMDS?

• CDX addresses a broader range of regulations than IMDS, including California Proposition 65, RoHS-2, Korea and China RoHS, and Conflict Minerals and UK Modern Slavery

• CDX interfaces to IMDS and also converts IMDS data to non-automotive formats, suitable for sharing multi-use products with non-automotive clients

• CDX offers IMDS-like reporting for non-automotive products, and meets all IMDS Committee requirements for an external data exchange system.

Question 3

Any CDX client may request enhancements, and where the requested capability is useful to many, it is considered for our roadmap. Currently proposed topics include:

• Provide CDX export of data into IMDS

• Integrate Data Analysis across IMDS and CDX

• Add Data Origin information Chapter (tab) in IMDS
